January City West Activity Report

I’d like to start off by thanking everyone at City West for electing me to be one of your Student Representatives in 2017. It will be an exciting twelve months in which we can create a better student experience for everyone at UniSA.

ryanI’d like to take this opportunity to emphasise the important work the Advocacy service does. If at any time you’re facing academic issues, particularly if you’re seeking to appeal a decision against a grade, an assignment or exam, this is an extremely important service. You can find out more at http://www.usasa.sa.edu.au/advocacy.

On a final note, remember that I am one of two representatives at City West, the other being Monamee Ishika. We’re already working hard, along with the entire USASA Board to make sure 2017 is a great year for City West. If you would like to get in touch, you can email me at kenrt002@mymail.unisa.edu.au. This is a great way to submit ideas to the Board to make your experience at university better. I’m always around campus so please feel free to come up and say hello at any time.

24/01/2017 & 25/01/2017 – USASA Board Retreat
It was great to meet the other USASA Board members and staff at our retreat on January 24 and 25. The two days were jam packed full of learning and planning. It has been fantastic to put ideas onto paper. I look forward to translating these plans into action for the benefit of all UniSA students.
