Activity Report-Sepember & October

Hello everyone, it seems like been a long time as City West student Rep and only have two months left for all of you. I will continue support all the students with any helps needed.

During Sepember and October, I had been enrolled in study tour courses to go overseas. I went to China to learn ‘Business in China’ courses with BiMBA of Peking University. This is a excited experience for me to study these courses with MBA students. As a Chinese, this study tour freshed me with new experiences and understanding about China. I must thank you for the University provides this great opportunity to all of management students and fantastic study tour experiences for all of us. If you are interesting to the Study Tour or any overseas study opportunties please contact Student Mobility Office 08 8302 0903 or you can email to business.mobility@unisa.edu.au for any equiries.

On this day we also celebrated 25 trees for 25 years, an initiative funded by the Student Association and planted by students of Whyalla.

October Report- West Campus

The university effect: every month seems busier than the last. October has truly been crazy for me, as I’m sure it is for most students. Final assignments are probably just been submitted or due, and exams are starting to rear their ugly head in the background. Make sure to try and find time to relax, eat well, sleep well and maybe even exercise (including just walking). Exams can be a very stressful time for students (trust me, I’ve had 4 exams every semester, I know!), and it’s important not to forget to take care of yourself. Although I probably need to take my own advice anyway 😉

Board Member Activity Report – Sophie Murray

Month of September

Summary of activity

September was a quieter month however I did get the opportunity to meet some more students. On the 6th and 26th of this month I visited First Year students enrolled in Human Movement who were camping in Kuitpo Forest. Part of the evening included a Cultural Information Session which was delivered by two local Elders.

It was a good opportunity to meet students off of campus and increase engagement.
