August Report – Whyalla Campus

Another month gone by quickly and I can see the speck of light down the end of the tunnel as we creep closer to the end of the study period, the past couple of weeks has been hectic with multiple assignments due. Keep pushing yourself, and do what you can, whenever you can. Here is a sum up of month;

  • Our mixed netball team is doing really well with four wins and one loss, sitting equal second on the ladder with 18 teams in competition.
  • USASA has provided brekky bars on the following dates;
    • 29/7/16
    • 1/8/16
    • 10/8/16
    • 11/8/16
    • 23/8/16
    • 24/8/16
  • Keep an eye out on the UniSA Whyalla Campus Student page on Facebook for the next one.
  • USASA continues to provide tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits for students in the student lounge.
  • Students were present at the Uni Open Day on Sunday 28th August, 2016 providing a free sausage sizzle to future students, thank you to Michelle Fay and staff for assistance.
  • If anyone has notice, Spring is upon us and something special is happening to the 25th Anniversary trees.
  • Finally, a mini experiment for those who have read this blog, if you can send me an email brkky001@mymail.unisa.edu.au with code word strawberries and I’ll make you a delicious serve of pancakes at the next brekky bar on Monday 5th September starting at 8.30 a.m.
